Hypothesis I thought the can was going to explode but It shrunk
Equipment Bunsen burner, tongs, ice cream container, can, safety glasses.
Method fill the ice cream container with cold water, place 50ml of water in the can, Set up Bunsen Burner and the heat proof mat, Heat the can of water until steam is seen escaping from the top, Quickly but carefully, invert the can as you plunge it into a container of water
Observations. bubbles, cracking, noises,steam,
Conclusion the can was really hot so It broke It self.
Discussion It happened because the particles stopped moving and they shrunk.
to make the can break is dependable but the rest looks perfect
