what is a ta moko

What have you learnt about Maori art that Maori art is really important to the Maori culture, and that they use wood,pounamu,bone,flax,feathers. The colours black,red,white feature strongly in the Maori culture. Some people still use these materials today and some people use new materiel.

My design is a green stone   here it is 


this is what it means  Said to have derived from the unfurling fern frond seen on New Zealand's silver ferns, the koru depicts new beginnings, growth and harmony. The koru green stone pendant can also mean the promise of a meaningful relationship.
