The purpose of this blog post is to demonstrate the scientific method. This is part of the end of topic assessment.
Aim: How high the ball bounces depending on the height.
Hypothesis: The ball that you drop the highest that one is going to go the highest.
Method: Get all the equipment, set up the right height first I got the ball and the ruler set up we then put the ball at the right and then we dropped it three times at the same height and then we got the average.
Result: the average for the three were 14 for the first one,26 for the second,37 for the third.
Discussion: because the gravity pules down the Ping Pong Ball when you bounce it.
Evaluation: I will stay on task next time and not get distracted and I will work harder we didn't change our method we followed the same one the whole time. So our answers must be right we done it three time to get the average.
Hi Josh, Great Hypothesis! Based on your results, Was your hypothesis correct? It would be awesome to see that written into your conclusion/discussion- eg. My hypothesis was correct, as the ball bounced highest (37cm) when it was dropped from the highest height (---cm).
