about the sun

The sun is a big ball of flames It can reach up to 5,505 degrees so there is no point of trying to go up to the sun because your rocket ship will melt before you will be able to get close.

Here are some facts about the sun

  • The Sun accounts for 99.86% of the mass in the solar system. ...
  • Over one million Earth's could fit inside the Sun. ...
  • One day the Sun will consume the Earth. ...
  • The energy created by the Sun's core is nuclear fusion. ...
  • The Sun is almost a perfect sphere.
  • \The Sun is travelling at 220 km per second.

blog about Antarctica

Key Question 1: What is the environmental/social sustainability issue?  A major environmental issue is Antarctica’s ice is melting.

Key Question 2:  What factors have caused this issue? climate change and global warming is melting the ice sheets, the reason it is getting is getting hotter is because there is a hole in the ozone layer which means the sun is getting through and heating up the earth, the thing that causes global warming is carbon dioxide and greenhouse gasses.

Key Question 3:  What will happen if this issue continues to degrade? The seals, blue whales and penguins will lose their habitats and bit by bit the ice will melt and go into the ocean and will start to eventually start to flood continents and people will start to lose their homes.

Key Question 4: What are the possible solutions to this issue (either being currently done or could be done)?  You can’t kill any bird or mammal in Antarctica, you can’t mine there, I know that there are petitions about climate change and global warming, for example greta thunberg is worrying about climate change. by leaving school every Friday and going outside the

Sweedian parliament and arguing to them.

Conclusions: Write conclusions summarising what you learned from your
research. Include specific evidence from your research to
support your findings.

Antarctica is melting because of global warming and climate change there are petitions from greta thunberg about climate change, by leaving school every Friday and arguing to the Swedish parliament about climate change, we can help the Antarctic  by not killing the animals, not mining anything there I have learnt that Antarctica is melting and the ocean level is slowly rising which will kill the population

The moons impact on the tidesHigh tides and low tides are caused by the moon. The moon's pull generates something called the tidal force. The tidal force causes Earth—and its water—to bulge out on the side closest to the moon and the side farthest from the moon. These bulges of water are high tides.

how do humans and the earth\ interact

We plant trees and they give us oxygen

We use fossil fuels, and they make acid rain

We pollute the water and they give us water

We are building more and more things but the earth is trying to keep up

Blog about the lake

Lakes Of Aotearoa

People need to care about these lakes because it is a resource that we need to today . people use it today for swimming, for picnics ,family time

The human actions that have ruined this lake are throwing in rubbish, cows eating grass there has been many more but I can't think.

It is very usable in different ways, you can still use it to this day. In the past people used it for food, swimming and they also us it for materials and clothes. The lakes might have been managed by some supervisors like lifeguards. The lifeguards make the water afe and make sure no one dies or litters.

The lake is a risk because people, they need lifeguards, The lake won’t last much longer,at the pace that we are going
